Aerial Photography in Geological Research

The massive structures involved in the formation and development of the earth’s surface  can stretch over many hundreds of Kilometres.

Some geological hypotheses can be supported (or possibly negated) by photographic evidence. Obtaining good Aerial photography evidence can be dangerous and expensive. It can also be very frustrating as weather conditions or lighting may not be ideal on the days that the fixed wing aircraft or helicopter together with their pilots were hired.

Much of this type of work can be done more efficiently with UAVs supported by a mobile unit with flexibility.
